Supply Chain Data Technician

POSITION PURPOSE:
The Supply Chain Data Technician is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and inputting information, as well as facilitating data storage processes.
In this role, the incumbent is required to accurately key in and maintain the physical and digital production orders including labor and material usage, daily productivity data, training records and key performance indicators.
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS, AND
Experience:
o High School diploma or equivalent; college degree a plus o 2
years' supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment; food and beverage manufacturing a plus.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
o Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, Access, and Outlook skills o Proficiency in QuickBooks o Ability to accurately perform data entry o Proven analytical and reporting skills a plus for downtime analysis and other KP o Strong mathematics skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division of whole numbers and fractions used in inventory, measuring productivity, production order calculations.
o Ability to plan and prioritize daily work assignment and exercise time-management skills to meet job requirements.
o Extensive math skills required for inventory, productivity, production order calculations o Ability to maintain accurate document records.
o Ability to get along with diverse personalities at all organizational levels; tactful, mature and flexible o Ability to multi-task on projects and day-to-day responsibilities o Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
o Ability to maintain a strong work ethic demonstrated through reliable attendance, punctuality, and flexibility.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
This position works in a food manufacturing environment and requires the ability to adhere to all GMP, Food Safety, workplace safety, and security policies including wearing required personal protective equipment, as well hair net, beard net, etc.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Position requires the ability to perform repetitive motions, lifting up 25 pounds The incumbent must be able to stand and walk on concrete floors, bend, reach, push, and pull.
Ability to use a computer, calculator, telephone and other tools required for the role.
PRIMARY
Responsibilities:
Digital and physical tracking of daily production related information Enter and verify data into standardized systems.
Organize and arrange files and data.
Search for, categorize, and enter data from multiple departments and sources.
Review documents and records for completeness and accuracy.
Compare records across fields and time to identify trends and quality problems.
Scan files and procure electronic records Order and maintain inventory levels of sundry inventories (i.
e.
- gloves, safety glasses, ear plugs, office supplies etc.
) Ensure adherence to company GMP policies to help meet OSHA, EPA, FDA, AIB, or other regulatory compliance necessary to sustain the medical nutrition business.
Other duties as assigned.
