is one of Massachusetts first medical marijuana dispensaries.
Our mission is to provide safe, quality marijuana for medical use to qualified patients in a safe and secure atmosphere that provides for patient, employee and public safety.
This position is responsible for providing patients with knowledgeable guidance through the selection of their medicine so that they feel educated and empowered in their selections.
The Dispensing Agent maintains strict inventory controls to ensure complete compliance and the prevention of diversion.
Essential Functions Enthusiastically greet patients upon their arrival to the dispensing counter.
Empower patients to make educated choices in the selection and usage of their medicine and accessories.
Develop ongoing and long term client relationships through all support and interactions.
Utilize Point of Sale software effectively and efficiently.
Maintain an efficient flow while ensuring patient needs are being met.
Receive, prepare, and verify customer orders while maintaining speed and accuracy.
Perform inventory checks with manager at shift beginning, end, and periodically to ensure compliance and the prevention of diversion.
Maintain a clean and organized dispensing area.
Perform other duties as directed.
Requirements Excellent Customer Service Skills Excellent Communication High Level of Professionalism Adaptable/Able to Thrive in Front of House and Back of House Roles Problem solving and Conflict Resolution Precise Math Skills Critical thinking ability Cash handling Attention to Detail Multi-task Oriented Stress Management/Composure Physical requirements:
Ability to Stand for Long Periods, Bend, Twist, Push, Pull, Reach.
Able to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly College degree preferred or related experience Hours and Availability Dispensing Agent shifts to cover dispensary operating hours from 8am - 7pm on Monday - Saturday.
Part time positions are available.
Must have regular and on-time attendance, able to work a flexible schedule (nights, weekends, and holiday shifts, including overtime as needed and approved).
