Quality Engineer (Electrical Engineering)

As our Quality Engineer (Electrical Engineer), you'll be responsible for establishing and sustaining the processes and procedures to ensure that electronic material and products conform to defined requirements. You'll be responsible for early stage engagement with new product introduction teams to develop performance requirements, product qualification/validation strategies, and executable inspection and electrical test programs (continuity & functional) to assure long term product quality. You'll also oversee data tracking and auditing including in-process production and supplier incoming quality. You'll drive continuous process improvement initiatives by applying the key principles of Lean Six Sigma and play a key role in support of the Quality Management System.

Your Education and Expertise Include:
BS in Electrical Engineering
5-10 years' experience is preferred
Experience in electromechanical production environments solving conformance related issues.
Knowledge and understanding of ISO9001 QMS requirements.
Statistical and analytical experience with application to quality improvement.
Knowledge and understanding of Lean manufacturing techniques.
Six Sigma Green Belt certification or equivalent experience is a plus.
Prior internship experience working with Federal Department of Defense (DOD)/US Navy/Military (MIL), etc., and government contracting requirements is a plus
Excellent computer skills with strong proficiency in Windows interface, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office .
Exceptional interpersonal and decision-making skills.
Excellent analytical and organizational skills, with keen attention to detail.
Strong presentation and written/verbal communication skills.
Availability to travel and ability to obtain a security clearance, if required.
